Face-to-face, or 1:1, counselling in a dedicated therapy room offers a calm and secure environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. This traditional approach provides a consistent, private setting, enabling you to focus entirely on your personal journey.
At Lorraine’s Counselling and Wellbeing, my work is predominantly person-centred, meaning you are at the heart of the process. I believe you are the expert in your own life, capable of discovering the answers you seek. My role is to walk beside you on your path, offering respect, empathy, and professional support as you navigate your personal challenges and move towards the changes you wish to make.
While my focus is person-centred therapy, I’m pluralistically trained with knowledge and experience in all the main counselling approaches. This allows us to work in the best way for you, incorporating techniques that align with your unique needs and preferences. Together, we will create a flexible, tailored therapeutic experience that respects your individuality and goals.
