Hi, I’m Lorraine,
Welcome to my website, I’m so pleased you’re here.
I understand that choosing a therapist can be personal and emotive, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. If after reading this you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me.
I’m a compassionate and experienced counsellor dedicated to supporting adults, children, and young people as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and designed to create a space where you can explore your feelings and experiences without judgment.
Building a strong, trusting relationship is at the heart of what I do. Clients often describe me as empathic, approachable, and intuitive. I talk naturally, avoiding jargon, during sessions, creating an atmosphere where you can feel at ease and possibly like we’ve known each other for years. Whether it’s discussing a difficult life event or reflecting on your week in a therapeutic context, I’m here to listen deeply, reflect on your experiences, and help you find clarity and self-understanding. I strive to create an environment where you feel truly comfortable to be your authentic self.
I believe in the power of seeing the bigger picture—much like putting together the puzzle pieces of your life. We’ll explore the things that might be holding you back and work together to create a path towards the change and growth you seek.
I’ve come to counselling work through both personal and professional experiences, having faced my own challenges along the way. I believe this allows me to connect with my clients from a place of real understanding and compassion, offering support as we work together through any issues you may be facing.
With extensive qualifications, including a specialism in Children and Young Person counselling, I use a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs. Whether we’re working face-to-face, through online therapy, or even during walk-and-talk sessions, I’m here to support you in the process of healing and growth.
Let’s work together, in a way that feels right for you and at your pace, to create lasting, positive change.
